OUR CAMPUS

Camp Whispering Pines is located on 76 beautiful acres in Citronelle, Alabama and is a part of the Mobile Baptist Network.  Founded in 1947, our campus was formerly the site of Hotel Citronelle.  The first camp at CWP was the Girls in Action Missions Camp and was actually housed in the old Hotel Citronelle in the summer of 1947.  

 

Nestled among the woods, beside the beautiful Lake Chautauqua, CWP offers sleeping accommodations for approximately 250 people through the provision of dorms and hotel rooms.  Our indoor amenities include everything from meeting rooms to our activity center/gym, which is available for larger groups to use as a worship space. It includes a climbing wall.  Some of our outdoor activities offered are ropes course, rec field, swimming pool, lake swimming and paintball.  We offer programming throughout the year or you can rent the facility and host your own camp or retreat.
