During
the months of June through December, Whispering Pines
provides many programs that meet the needs of all ages.
The camp also provides opportunities for summer staff
to grow spiritually as well as opportunities to share
their faith with others. The programs include:

SMILE |
| |
| Since
1973 Whispering Pines has been sponsoring Camp SMILE (Special
Meaning In Life Experiences). Our focus is to meet the needs
of persons that are physically and mentally challenged. |

Adventure |
| |
|
|
In
1992 Whispering Pines and United Cerebral Palsy joined
forces with the staff
of Camp SMILE to create Camp Adventure. Camp
Adventure is designed to meet the needs of children with
Cerebral Palsy. |

|
|
|
| Boys
Summer Camp |
| |
| Our
boys' camp is designed to lead young boys to a deeper relationship
with Jesus Christ through outdoor activities. Many of the
boys that participate are involved in RA's within their
church. |
|
|
|
|
|
| Girls
Summer
Camp |
| |
|
|
Our
girls' camp focus is missions. Each girl
has the opportunity to meet missionaries from around the
world. The goal of the week is to lead them to a better
understanding of missions as well as a deeper relationship
with Jesus Christ. |

| Wild-Game
Cookout |
| |
| Each
year Whispering Pines holds an annual Wild Game Cookout.
This is a time for men and boys to try different wild game,
outdoor games and listen to guest speakers. |
|
|
|
| Senior
Adult Fish-Fry |
| |
|
|
Once
a year, hundreds of senior adults come to our Senior Adult
Fish Fry. With all the fish and fixins they can eat, along
with a guest speaker, senior adults can enjoy great fellowship
and fun.

|
|
|
| International
Children's Camp |
| |
|
The
International Children's Camp began in 2002 to provide
the opportunity for children from local International
Churches to grow deeper in their relationship with God
through a camping experience.

|
|
|
| Christmas
in November |
| |
|
|
A
special afternoon luncheon for ladies which includes a
guest
speaker, Christmas decorating tips, a cookbook and prizes.
Also many ideas to make our Christmas less stressful
so we can promote the real reason for Christmas.

| Girls
Winter Weekend |
| |
Our
Girls Winter Camp is designed for girls from grades 1
- 6. We have 2 weekends in November. The
weekends focus on missions as well as encourages
the girls in their relationship with God. It gives them
the opportunity to seek God for direction for their
future.

|
|
Wilderness
Trek
Camp
Our
Wilderness Trek Camp is for boys and girls from grades 4 -
6. It is a week long, adventure packed camp. The
children have an opportunity to swim, hike and learn about
missionaries from around the
world.

churches as well as Christian organizations in weekend retreats
and summer camps. |
