Lodging

At Camp Whispering Pines we offer two styles of lodging, motel rooms (see update below) and dorm-style rooms for large groups. The eight motel rooms include one queen size bed, one twin bed, a vanity area and a bathroom. The dorm-style rooms contain bunk beds and a shower room. The rooms are clean and neat and are great for large and small groups.

Construction Update

Because of Hurricane Katrina there have been many changes taking place at our facilities. Our eight room motel building was damaged to the point that it needed to be rebuilt. Starting March of 2007, volunteers begin to help us rebuild. Our plan is to replace it with a 32 unit motel. The projected date to open the new motel is 2008.

There are 160 beds available for groups to use for their retreats and week long camps at this time. Check out the virtual tour to see the layout of our dorms. Please call us with questions about our lodging. Also we have made some additions to our recreational area that may interest your group.
