One
of the most popular features at the camp is Lake
Chautauqua (Sha-taw-qwa). The three acre lake has a
designated swimming area and access to paddleboats and
funyaks. Lifeguards can be provided for a small fee and
life jackets are supplied upon request. Nearby is a
covered dock and shaded gazebo. This area is perfect for
relaxing in a tranquil setting. Surrounding the lake is
our nature trail. This is ideal for exploring nature at
its best while relaxing on benches that are provided along
the trail. This part of the camp is truly a beautiful
place to experience God in His creation.
Your group can take a hike
around Lake Chautauqua or drop your line in for a
relaxing afternoon of fishing. The camp has two hiking
trails, one around our lake and the other around and
through our Ropes Course.
