Mentorship
Just
as Timothy looked to Paul as a role model for spiritual
wisdom, our highest standard is Christ. With this, Christ
can live through the life of a mentor. Each intern will
have the opportunity to serve under the leadership of the
Camp Director during their term. Weekly meetings, as well
as evaluations will help in the training as a
leader.
Ministry
Through the Internship Program an intern will have the
opportunity to be a part of an exciting ministry program.
Each year hundreds of children, youth and adults make life
changing decisions through camp sponsored programs. Many
of those will make first time decisions to ask Jesus
Christ to come into their heart. Camp Whispering Pines
interns will be involved in the lives of these people
through planning programs, staff training, camp
preparation, counseling, as well as many other facets that
contribute to each campers experience.
