The newest addition to Camp Whispering Pines is the Adventure Ropes Course. The course is made up of seven low elements and five high elements ranging in complexity and skill. The course is an excellent tool for building unity among discipleship groups, Sunday School classes, and mission trip teams by demonstrating a hands-on approach to ministry principles for teens and adults alike. It causes individuals to strategize and work together as a team, in order to overcome the obstacles presented by the elements. Low elements include a trust fall, wall climb, tight wire, and a low beam. Some of the high elements are the giant's ladder, vine cross, trapeze leap, and the 300 foot zip line across the lake. The elements are secure and safe. Trained facilitators are provided for all groups. Participants must be at least ten years of age or older. Cost for the course is $8.00 per person.
